THE ROLE:
The Junior Application Analyst administers, maintains, and supports applications including M3, Quickbase, and DigiAudit. As the functional expert, they will provide front-line support for end users, ensure all maintenance is carried out in a timely manner, configure and enhance products within the application stack, and write reports and enhancements.
ACTIVITIES:
- Maintains applications and minimize downtime.
- Provides support to front-line users.
- Analyzes current systems and their use and make recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborates with stakeholders to design and enhance applications to meet evolving organizational needs.
- Backs up and upgrade existing applications as required.
- Investigates, diagnoses, and resolves faults and errors in applications.
- Updates existing documentation and develop new documentation as required.
- Assists departments and end users in identifying problems and providing solutions.
- Plans and coordinates downtime, maintenance, and upgrades.
- Provides guidance, informal training, or instruction to co-workers.
- Supports ad hoc projects, such as assisting in software evaluations, implementing new application features, or supporting team-wide initiatives to enhance application efficiency.
COMPETENCIES WE ARE SEEKING:
- University degree or College Diploma in Information Technology (IT).
- 1-2 years of experience supporting ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, or equivalent, with a willingness to learn the organization’s primary tools, including M3 and Quickbase.
- Experience creating data-driven reports using tools like SQL, Quicksight, or Power BI to support decision-making.
- Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
- Demonstrated ability to provide responsive, empathetic user support and communicate technical information effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to research applications that can enhance operations within the company.
- Highly self-motivated and directed; keen attention to detail and proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Mental Effort required to perform the job:
- Frequent mental and visual concentration during computer work daily.
- Frequent listening and mental attentiveness in dealing with Customer or Public, and Manager’s requirements.
- Frequent mental effort required in multi-tasking and handling interruptions that require constant refocusing.
Physical Effort required to perform the job:
- Continuously requires manual dexterity speed and hand/eye coordination to operate computer systems daily.
- Periodic lifting of computer hardware and equipment such as servers, routers, etc.
Responsibility for Resources:
- Responsible for work area.
- Responsible for confidential IT documents, equipment, and protocols related to the company.
Working Conditions
- Continuously working at a workstation assigned by the Manager.
- Continuously working in a climate-controlled office.
- Infrequent travel to properties as required.
- Frequent meetings to discuss various IT subject matter.
- Irregular working hours, as required.
- Flexible working hours, as required.

- Works under general instructions to prioritize and complete assigned tasks.
